Greetings
On Saturday, March 18, the team will have the opportunity to visit a live volcano in Ecuador called Cotopaxi. There is no extra cost for you to participate in this outing, we just need you to RSVP in the below form. The trip to Cotopaxi will involve some walking.
Cotopaxi is an active volcano in the Andes Mountains, located about 31 mi south of Quito. It is the second highest summit in Ecuador, reaching a height of 5,897 m (19,347 ft). It is one of the world’s highest volcanoes.
Since 1738, Cotopaxi has erupted more than 50 times, resulting in the creation of numerous valleys formed by mudflows around the volcano. The last eruption lasted from August 2015 to January 2016.
