Sample Schedule

Following is a tentative schedule for the trip.

Saturday arrival into Quito with airport pickup and transportation to Semisud (the name of the place where we will be staying….internet available, but spotty).  Emergency contact information will be provided later.

Sunday is a day for rest, team gathering, clinic set-up, hiking adventure and shopping.

Monday-Friday is clinic time with 7:00 breakfast, devotional, “brush and flush”, transport to and from the Verbo Church South where we will be working, followed by the evening meal and team time.
Friday afternoon will be another adventure/shopping option.

Saturday is a wonderful day of rest and reflection enjoying the beauty of the Andes while soaking in the pools at a hot springs spa.  Massages are available at a nominal cost.

Most will have heard this before, but “flexibility and a sense of humor” are critical aspects to have in order to get the most out of a mission experience.  Thanks for being a part of the effort.  I trust that we help lots of people, learn a lot, grow spiritually and interpersonally, and have a blast in the process.
