DCF will travel to Cameroon May 4-18 to work at the Mbingo Baptist Hospital.  Dr Gregg Schmedes completed his ENT residency at MUSC in 2014 and immediately went to Africa to become a part of a unique training program called the Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS).  The goal of this program is to train Africans as surgeons in Africa to change the face of surgical care in their individual countries.  Please go to paacsbulletin@paacs.net to view a short video of the program.  It’s amazing!

Details of the visit are still being worked out, but the plan is to head to Africa the first two weeks in May, with a return in time for graduation if needed.  Cost of the trip will be in the $1000 range, plus airfare.  At this time we are trying to discern interest in participation.  Click here to apply so that we can keep you informed of the details of the trip as they are finalized.  Space is limited.
